So you think your schooling's phoney. I guess it's hard not to agree. You say it all depends on money,  And who is in your family tree.
When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

How is "better" defined? Or, given the likelihood of incomprehension.... let's try, "understood?"

Supertramp for me as well. Never really warmed up to the prog side of Opeth, whereas I really dig Orchid.

Oh and btw, I thought everybody enjoyed Dreamer? I love it to death myself.

Crime of the century is almost flawless - I do like Opeth but in this battle it's not even close...

^VDGG is indisputably my favorite prog group ever, and their Still Life is a bona fide masterpiece. But that being said, the one Opeth did is still better by a handy margin IMO. You never know til you listen!

I haven't heard the Opeth album, so no vote from me. But I think that if I prefer any Still Life, it would be the one by Van der Graaf Generator.

I like Dreamer!

Good! It's a great tune, very clever and quirky. I've liked it since I was a child..

I'm not anti-metal at all, but have always had trouble appreciating Opeth.  So am voting Tramp.

Haven't heard Crime, so no vote. It wouldn't be impossible for it to top Still Life once I hear it, but good gravy is that a high watermark it would have to pass. Still Life is perfect.
