If you've not been, you should definitely check out Paul's in the East Village of Manhattan next time you are in NYC ... it is billed as the 'best' egg creme ... I dunno about that, but it IS dang good!

Ha! I was actually not too far from there on Friday night ... but was seeing my favourite 'nerd folk' band @ The Waystation (The Doubleclicks).
Thanks for the clarification, Daysbetween! I will check that out! |

Thanks for the welcome; can you provide a link to Full Power? Hard to search for 'full power band' in Google. :)
The album can be streamed or purchased here, ALBUM LINK Edited by AsFollows - April 09 2014 at 16:30 |

Welcome to PA Ben and greetings from Scotland. I am listening to Full Power as I type and bought the deluxe hardback even though I had previously bought both CDs. Would be interested in hearing your project.

Hi there,
My name is Ben; I am a lifelong fan of progressive music and have played in a few well-regarded NYC based progressive bands over the years. (Urshurak, Twilight Odyssey, Phantom Isle) I am primarily a musician/songwriter, but also do freelance recording engineering/mixing. My day gig is as an audio consultant. Listening-wise, I prefer the more melodic stuff to the mathy/experimental; big fan of: Rush (all eras) Genesis (Gabriel era) Pink Floyd (classic era, but actually like Momentary Lapse a lot, too) Renaissance (all) echolyn (all) Big Big Train (English Electric Parts 1 & 2 are amazing!!) Unitopia Ayreon Kansas Shadow Gallery Symphony X Flower Kings Spock's Beard If anyone knows anything in those veins, would love to hear about it! I recently completed mixing my latest project, As Follows. It's a 51-minute long piece divided into two 'sides'. Thematically, we took several obscure poems from EA Poe and made our own storyline out of them. The album is called The Eye Of Fire And Fear. If anyone is interested in hearing it, I can post a link. |
