Here are some prog classical ripoffs you did not bring up. (I would have posted to your forum, but I cannot find the "comments" section you speak of):

The most obvious one, I'd think: The Nice- Karelia Suite (Sibelius),  America (Bernstein)

ELP - Knife edge (Yanacek sinfonetta for orchestra  - perhaps you mentioned this)

Mastermind - ride of Valkyrie

Pell Mell -Rhapsody (Smetana), Can-Can

Solarplexus - Danse russe

Micheal Quatro Jam Band -really fine Rachmaninov rendition on his first lp

Sadowski - Debussy's Syrinx

Renaissance - lotta references, many not given credit - Debussy, Shostakovitch,Jehan Alain, Rachmoninov ,Albinoni,Prokofiev

Annie Haslam -first solo lp  ("Going Home")

Also Dvorjack New World Symphony - Pell Mell

T-Tauri, a Dutch band, did the whole of Pictures at Exhibition

Speaking of Holland, Flairk I would think fit the bill somewhere in their large discography.
The organist of Focus' early lps were classical .
Ekseption - this was their specialty, fer  crissake

Gryphon - offshoot first solo lp is all-classical (but NOT rock hybrid)

New Trolls -monte calvo

Il Roveshio della Medaglia -concept on mad Scotsman thinks he is reincarnation of Bach

Even Alan Parsons hit on Debussy  "(or , more correctly Wolfson) on Tales of Mystery & Imagination

Beggar's Opera - Raymond

sHAGGY - LESSONS FOR BEGINNERS

lOVE sCULPTURE - SABRE DANCE

I've been writing a series of blogs called 'Rock Meets Classical' in which I discuss rock/classical crossover. I think you guys will find some of the posts interesting… there's one on classical quotations in classic prog, and there are a few in depth King Crimson theory analyses… check it out!
