Foxtrot is superior to CTTE if you ask me.

How could you say you didn't like the vocals on CTTE??  Did you listen to them?  The vocals are awesome, the whole album is excellent.  I agree though that Foxtrot might be just a bit better.

I didn't like the vocals after the first listen (to fragile, being my first yes
album.) Jon Anderson's vocal took me a while to get used to, but now I like it
a lot. Read the reviews for the reasons why the album is so good. It took a
while for me to get into (after owning just Fragile) but once I understood it,
it remains as one my favorite Yes with Relayer.

I agree, but CTTE is still a masterpiece.

CTTE is just sheer genius. That anyone would have the technical and compositional ability to compose and to perform the title track is just completely beyond me. And You And I and Siberian Khatru are also brilliant. Easily one of the best prog albums ever, if not the best.
The crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe.

That's fine... there is nothing wrong with that, If you don't like the vocal. And yes.. I like Foxtrot better.

Because of the song entitled "And You And I".

First of all, I like close to the edge very much. Hell, I love all yes albums up to and including drama!
However, when compared to relayer or (especially) Tales, i think ctte pales in comparison. Let me ask you one thing: Doesn't any one of you think that the title track is alittle bit TOO repetitive for a 18min song? Of course this is highly subjective and is only my opinion...
