Hmm, nearly 200 votes for VdGG and King Crimson without any comments. Do I detect some multiple voting here?

No one. Seminal bands never are overrated. VDGG overrated? IMHO, they are the most underrated band on the progressive rock history.

I agree with you!
BTW, does Robert Fripp deliberately play out of tune?

I love Crimson's experiments. But why is VDGG getting 8 votes for being
overrated?

None, and why did you put Amon Duul II in that list? They don't get
talked about a lot and are actually quite an underrated band compared
to the others in your poll.

Welcome to the forum, your sure picked a poll that would bring you some attention to start off with.
I voted for Pink Floyd. Like many prog bands, they had their strengths and weaknesses, but some of the stuff they have done is obscenely overrated or complete crap.

I´ve always thought of progressive music as one of the most positive things in the world, and therefore I´ve never thought of any band or solo performer as bad or overrated. So how come everyday there´s a poll like this trying to discredit the bands most of us love? |

I don't like overrated threads so I'll abstain, but since the originator is Irish I'll suggest the most underrated band on the site - the brilliant Irish band Horslips!
