What do you think of Fish's solo stuff in general.
For me, Vigil was an excellent start to his solo career and should have really been a benchmark of what was to follow. Unfortunately the very Scottish sounding Internal Exile, the dreadful Songs from the Mirror cover album and Suits saw his career nosedive.
But Sunsets on Empire showed a return to form - exciting, dynamic songs. Raingods followed which contained some proggy masterpieces such as Plague of Ghosts. Fellini Days was in the same vein and Crows showed the big fella in great form.
It's been a hard choice but I'll think I'll choose Sunsets on Empire as it really brought Fish to the fore again - not his most progressive recording but nevertheless it's a damn fine record !
