These are pretty much the most different songs I can think of... For Absent Friends has Phil Collins on vocals, sooo.... Lark's Tongues wins for me. |

For Absent Friends isn't bad, but Larks is way better.

This is comically dumb. A 13 minute prog masterpiece versus the short and fun For Absent Friends?

How about Thriller vs Karn Evil 9????? This is absurd, For Absent Friends is the only bellow the average track in Nursery Cryme and lark's Tongues in Aspic is the title song (La piece de Resistance) from a Crimson album. I'm a Genesis fan and I don't like For Absent Friens, what are you trying to prove? That Genesis looses with everybody? Iván |

I have not heard Nursery Cryme, but "For Absent Friends" by Opeth is a great bit. |

Maybe we could have a poll to see if this is the weirdest versus yet. I mean both are great but how do you compare a thirteen miunute prog masterpiece with a two minute brilliant popish interlude between two prog masterpieces. One is brilliant standing all on it's own The other is a great little song which brings masterpiece status through expert sequencing to Nursery Cryme Maybe someone could poll Gates of Delirium versus Pretty vacant |

How wonderful to be so profound
