Nothing wrong with saying you like them all, chamberry, they have not made
a "bad" album yet...

In terms of instrumentals, these three albums-LTiA, SaBB, and Red stomp
every King Crimson album ever created. Don't believe me? Listen to LTiA
Parts I and II, Fracture, and Starless. Red, too, just for good measure.
And then look at the other instrumentals:
just some examples:
The Devil's Triangle
Lizard
Sailor's Tale
The Sheltering Sky
Indiscipline
Industrial Zones A&B
Most of these are really good, but they just can't keep up with the
intensity that LTiA, SaBB, and Red deliver. But, again, they are excellent in
a different way.

In my opinion, in every era that King Crimson has done work, their first
album of that era is a revolutionary or groundbreaking work for that era.
In The Court Era(1969-1971)-In The Court Of The Crimson King(1969)
LTiA/SaBB Era(1973-1974)-LTiA(1973)
Discipline Era(1981-1984)-Discipline(1981)
Thrak/CoL Era(1995-2003)-Thrak(1995)
TPtB Era(2003-present)-The Power To Believe(2003)-this album is the least
groundbreaking in my opinion. Still, new sound for Crimson.

LTIA, no contest. Well, the debut gives a little contest, but only a little.
