Topic: Orphaned Land - Acoustic or Electric Posted: August 12 2006 at 00:40 |
I personally consider Orphaned Land's "The Calm Before The Storm" (Bonus Mabool Live Acoustic EP) as my favorite OL release.
Do you think that OL should go more acoustic or do you like them electric?

I saw them live a little while ago and can say without any hesitation that both sides of their sound are breathtaking.

Hard decision, the acoustic stuff on the Mabool bonus cd is great, but I really like their electric stuff,so if I had to choose I would pick that. I think they are ONE of the best bands in prog metal right now, with a nice eclectic mix of styles and instrumentation.

They seem to be like an "Arabian Opeth", I love their style.

I voted electric, although the acoustic sounds very good too.
