Topic: comparison between Anglagard and Sinkadus Posted: September 06 2006 at 17:28 |
I have just heard SINKADUS' "Aurum nostrum", and I have always love it, but everytime I listen it I think that I'm listening to one of the Anglagard album. Of course they are not Anglagard, but some passages have the same notes than the Anglagard ones.. For me the main diference is that Sinkadus is less technic and more melodic than Anglagard. What do you think?

I'm pretty sure Anglagard is 10 times better than Sinkadus, but both are quite listenable

Personally I prefer SINKADUS to ANGLAGARD - because of simply math:
Hybris=5 Aurum Nostrum=5
Epilog=3(IMHO) Cirkus=4
SINKADUS wins!!!
Anyway,Scandinavian New Symph never let you down.Try any release (WOBBLER,VALINOR'S TREE,ANEKDOTEN,LIQUID SCARLET,GARGAMEL etc),and it won't disappoint you

Sinkadus is an Anglagerd clone, but I find them listenable.

let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword

Sinkadus is Anglagard clone in their Aurum Nostrum album, but I like it a lot.
Sinkadus is getting more individuality in their Cirkus album and I like it even better.
Anglagard is superb band.
