Although I'm not a fan, I choose U2 out of these.

I like them all. Although, U2's appeal seems to be diminishing all of the time.

The Stones over all of these for me.
When I was much younger and Depeche Mode were the big thing going, I use to hate them and all they stood for. Now that I'm much older and "wiser", I don't mind their music as much. I remember we used to call them Depressed Mode, Now I find their music quite happy and entertaining. I still don't own any of their cd's though.
The Cure was the same way until I gave in and started to listen to them in the early 90's. I don't own any of their cd's either.
U2 is a great band, and I'm really impressed that they have been around this long now. I do get very bored with them quickly, They would be the first band that I would change the station on the radio. I've heard enough U2 to last me through three lifetimes.
But the Stones, My god what can you say? I hope I'm still rocking out like them when I'm as old as they are. Thirty years ago did anyone ever imagine Keith Richards would still be rocking out, much less alive today?

U2 for me. 'The Joshua tree' is a killer album. And their last album is very good actually.

Atl least The Cure have the depressed thing going on, as well as some great songs.

...The Stones?!? I wouldn't call that pop-rock.
Still the best.
