Better concert these days?
Hmmm...Proto Kaw, especially considering Steve Walsh´s vocal capabilties nowadays.

Kansas. Those songs mean more to me and are part of my childhood. E iTunes: "The Wall" from Kansas' Always Never The Same

I saw Kansas back in May and they were better than they were in the late 70s when I first saw them. Steve sang great. They played Magnum Opus, which was totally jaw dropping. As far as live goes, I'd rather see Kansas. However, I am more a fan of Proto Kaw right now because they are thriving band; while Kansas is coasting. Peace.

Kansas has some great songs, but Proto-Kaw is proggier, and I like that.

Both are great, but I enjoy the original most of all.

No doubts in my mind, KANSAS, Kerry Livegren did his finest work creating the music for Kansas, I honestly don't care too much about Proto Kaw.
And now with David Ragsdale must be sounding great, less feeling and sentiment than Robby Steinhardt but a great technique.

I agree 100%. I can't get past his voice.
