Hello,
a friend will go to Italie for a year, so I thaught i could give him some music advices about italien bands.

Could some one help me, please. Embarrassed

First of all I recommend you to take a look to the top 100 italian symphonic prog:

 
 
Of the non-symphonic, I recommend you:
 
1) Delirium - III, Viaggio negli Arcipelaghi del Tempo (1974)
2) Arti & Mestieri - Tilt, Immagini per un'Orecchio (1974)
3) Formula Tre - Sognando e Risognando (1972)
4) Perigeo - Abbiamo Tutti un Blues da Piangere (1973)
5) Picchio dal Pozzo - s/t (1976)
6) Riccardo Zappa - Celestion (1977)

...err, there's an error here. Il Cappello a Tre Punte is an album by Fiaba while Arpia is another italian prog contemporary band.
 
I know you have both the albums, Mandy, so I forgive you...LOL
