IMO, it's the epitome. (Of everything that is brilliant about progressive rock) A modern day symphony, a rock symphony. It is truly the most progressive album in Yes's catalog.

Some people think of this album as just being a masterpiece or really bad. I don't vote because it would be a great lie answering one of this options, since this is a  very good album, but far from being brilliant, neither pretentious.
