So I've listened to Yes, Genesis, etc... Any suggestions of albums that were lost to most? Preferably symphonic prog or prog folk instead of prog metal or heavy prog, though I'm open to any hidden classic.

The first album that came to mind was El Cielo by Dredg.
As for good symphonic, how much Italian Symphonic have you heard? Banco would be an excellent starting place, specifically Darwin!. Judging by your avatar, you're a Harmonium fan, but if you haven't heard L'Heptade, it's great.
What else... Camel, Celeste, Renaissance, Solaris, The Strawbs are all great bands that might be up your alley.

I'd suggest Tull's legendary Thick As A Brick, if you haven't heard it already (you probably have, but...just in case). A little lighter and more charming than A Passion Play or Minstrel..., despite being less acoustic-driven. King Crimson's Islands might appeal to you if you don't mind more direct jazz and classical influences (and even if other Crimson albums don't). I'd also recommend highly the second Maneige album (Les Porches).

Edit: Camel is also excellent.

something right up your alley

Locanda delle Fate's - Forse le Lucciole Non Si Amano Piu`

I'm not a fan of this album, for many of the reasons you are looking for.. a bit light for my tastes.... but I do think I am the ONLY one who has heard it that is no a fan.

here's a youtube clip..

From your other posts, I think you've at least sampled nearly all of these suggestions.   If you haven't heard the first Flash album, give that a try.

After Crying - Overground Music (if you like the accented vocals) and Bacamarte - Depois Do Film are two solid choices in my opinion. I have recurring love-fests with these albums on a regular basis now.

Edit- Oh and for prog folk; Trees - On the Shore, Itoiz - Ezekiel, and Conventum - A L'affut d'un Complot. Also be sure to check out Comus - First Utterance if you like darker folk music, that album will likely always remain in my top 3.

White Willow- Ignis Fatuus, Ex Tenebris and Sacrament. All three are pretty light, though they can get quite heavy at times, but they are simply beautiful music. Their two following albums are actually heavier but very good as well.

How about Gryphon? Start with "Red Queen to Gryphon Three".
Greenslade would be another interesting alternative. Try "Bedside Manners Are Extra".

And if you dare to let some heavy prog into your heart, try the grandfathers of it: High Tide with their smashing debut album "Sea Shanties".

superb recs

I'd add Steeleye Span's All Around My Hat, Please to See the King or Now We Are Six

..some of the Canterbury bands had a 'light' side (think I saw Caravan mentioned).. National Health one of the better ones, and Hatfield and the North

Try an album called "Garden Shed" by a band called England.  The album is hard to find but a true treasure.  If you like Yes and Genesis, you will love this album.

I was thinging that Khan's Sea Shanty might be worth a look at, as with other "Steve Hillage" albums such a L, Fish Rising, Green and Live Herald Thumbs%20Up

Maybe what I am listening to at the moment, too... Crisalida from Espiritu ...some very nice prog from South America ... non-English vocals though if that is an issue.

Thanks for the recommendations so far, everyone! Note: I don't care what language the vocals are in, only that the music itself is good.
