Ugh, I hated it!!! Especially that nasally, sneery, middle-tone voice that the one guy seemed to always use. And the music seemed much, much more bland and sterile than the previous ones. Major thumbs down from me.

I listened to alot of it, it's their best by far. I almost enjoyed some of the song Goliath.

AFAIK Omar doesn't sing ... he's the guitarist and songwriter/mastermind.

D'oh! Disregard any names mentioned and replace with "the vocalist"...

While the first/second listen, I thought it was bizarre and had potential, I just don't like it now at all with the exception of Goliath, Soothsayer and the opener.
However, I went back to their debut and found them much more listenable now and Eriatarka might be my favorite song of theirs. The choruses in that song are incredibly catchy and complex (especially the drumming) and I love how the last chorus is smoother and in 4/4 in a subtle way.

After about 4-5 listens to it now, I think Bedlam is easily going to be one of the best '08 albums and may very well be TMV's best album so far (except for Deloused of course).

The third option sums it up for me. It's not bad, but not up to TMV standards set by the past three albums. It's certainly their weakest but still pretty good.

I wish the artwork on the inside of the booklet was better and more like the cover and back.

Another good point. The inside artwork is terrible.
