i saw barclay james harvest few years back in london and it was the best rock concert i ever saw..the selection of songs was right, the sound quality and clarity was top notch, and i was blown away by the late and great mel pritchard! ..
also enjoyed camel immensely in their dust and dreams tour...

Out of the ones listed on the website I've only seen Radiohead which was spectacular. Nine Inch Nails put on an amazing show as well and another band I wish I saw back in their prime was Jane's Addiction.

Tool or Opeth. Tool live is like a spiritual experience.

Horslips or Runrig.
I saw Horslips in 1973 and danced non stop for nearly 3 hours in a mad melee with hundreds of fans I'd never met before. Sadly, I went to Canada and didn't see them again till 1977.
I saw Runrig at The Barrowlands in Glasgow last December and they were astonishing. I've seen them many times before and they've been brilliant, but that was the best.
Mind you, Mostly Autumn's christmas gigs are always something special, if you can get in.

Who has been the greatest live act ever?
The Stones, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Queen, Pink Floyd, The Who, Bowie, Nirvana or someone else?
This Day in Music have just started a poll to find out. If you fancy voting for who you think should win go to http://www.thisdayinmusic.com
You can vote for any act, just go to 'other' on the list.
