I see that the "members online" section, down below on the forum front page, has been replaced with something new called "members visited". Here's today sample (so far? *gulp*)
The last part, in bold, is funny, as a statistic. Edited by Ricochet - November 21 2008 at 11:44 |

The whole last line is quite confusing. Does it mean we are missing 233 yesterday for the entire month? Just this month or forever? And how did 882 members from the previous month come back just now when only 242 have visited today?!?!
I love a good enigma. |

it's quite a burden to the forum index page, imo. i suggest we don't keep this feature.

M@x must have been on the sauce with that one!
Just a reminder that if anyone is concerned with this, they can set their profile no to show when they are on the site.

We're talking a different feature than the "currently online users". Funny thing, if I log in the morning (with the option "Add me to Active Users list" enabled) and then log in again in the afternoon (with the option disabled), I would already be in the "Members that visited the forum in that day" list, so my presence on the forum during that day would be, somehow, deconspired. |

It doesn't look good. It makes us look as a website that everybody abandons!

More thoughts? I'm sure M@x is just trialing it, so all feedback welcome.

Same here, honestly I don't care for this new user list.

Since you mentioned it, I think there are more people who just registered and didn't posted a single thing than we über-posters, casual posters and occasional posters put together in the same box. |
