Sex as well. Does that qualify as an invention? If it does then it trumps all other inventions.

Sex can be inventive, but I don't think it counts as an invention (unless you're a teenager )

Dean, you got me there. Surely when Adam and Eve first did the nasty for the first time Adam shouted "EUREKA" at the top of his voice. Maybe that counts for something? I mean, I would think of myself as a genius in his position at that point (no pun intended)

^ I don't think Eve was impressed though, given she invented 'clothes' soon after.

And the woman hasn't stopped harping on about them since... Most of the women in my life require about 8 wardrobes of clothes. I require some binliner for rain and feathers for when it is cold. Fashion? PAH!

The very fact that a product like that can exist gives me hope for the future.

That is a very... interesting hybrid Clearly the inventor wasn't too keen on wrapping sausage in bacon and instead went for an alternative for Xmas dinner?

^ Sausage in batter (which is all a pancake is) is fairly comonplace - the real "invention" there is the addition of chocolate chips - that's pure genius

It would be twice as genius if it were put in a sandwich.

Lies. The real invention is the stick. Which leads me to my next point. The stick is the greatest invention ever. I can think of no food that doesn't benefit by being put on a stick. Also, I have had the non-choco chip version of those and they were delicious. Unfortunately now I know that such marvelous things exist thus my life will always seem meaningless when I am not eating one of those marvelous concoctions (read: always).

Well, all I can tell you is that even Micky (who will eat just about anything) felt sick at the very idea of that abomination ... He loves sausages, pancakes and chocolate chips - just not together .
