It is funny that you ask this question as I am in the process of burning my CDs to my computer so that I can play them on my iPod, and I started listening to all of the Asia CDs starting on Tuesday.  A couple here and a couple there.  I am currently listening to Aura and I absolutely love it.  I think that it is probably my favorite Asia album; but I also like the debut, Silent Nation, and Phoenix quite a lot too, so my vote was for Equally Like Them.

I'm going to see them in Cardiff next month, and am really looking forward to it. Original by a mile - I loathed Payne's vocals.Dead

tell you what – just to be different: i'll go for the payne-fronted ASiA. nice play of word's actually.
of course the original four are the original four and by now one can probably say that their
reunion was successful and done for the right reasons.

but i enjoyed ASiAmk2 and i thought that their “melodic rock steely dan“ approach (two key
players and lots of guests where and when required) was quite special and certainly
brought a lot of new influences to the table. i enjoyed their jazzier and latin
influences on “arena“ and “aura“.
progressive rock and rural tranquility don't match. true or false?
