I must confess I only have Indelibly Stamped but know so I can't vote myself but what do you more experienced members think is their best (worse) album. but a cant seem to think to much of the art work had I been 15 i would been giggeling but now im 24 i think they could a little more tastefull picture.
I quite like IS i think it is a great Eclectic prog album (to be honoust) it hear a bit of GGish flavours, with the blues, folk, jazz, avant, rock'n'roll sound, not fearly long songs but all the songs are densely composed, tight and experimental. less prog then their first but stil well crafted |

I found their later albums to be a bit boring, so I voted for Indelibly Stamped, it's not one their greatest albums but it's ok.

I haven't heard two of those, but if it were Indelibly Stamped vs Slow Motion, Slow Motion would get my vote by a wide margin.

I actually like the two longer tracks on Never Changes.

Although I mourn the passing of Hodgson, I do quite like Free as a Bird, so I went for that one.

I think Hosanna is a religious chant in Christianity. Like, in praise of God or Jesus or something.

No doubt: "Indelebly stamped".
I enjoy ALL the Supertramp albums but I think the two firsts ("Supertramp" and "IS" are among the most underrated albums by prog fans).

For me, Supertramp were not Supertramp after the departure of Roger. The band thrived on the songwriting of Davis and Hodgson (although like the Beatles, they rarely wrote together) and the contrasting vocals of the pair. That said, I can't vote for IS either.
Roger is still very much alive, I saw him in live Glasgow a couple of years ago and he was superb.

I'm a great fan of Supertramp, but for me Indelibly Stamped is simply terrible. Generally speaking, the albums from the list aren't their peaks of career, though... vote for Some Things, because they Never Change.

Some Things Never Change.
I like all these albums, even the pop flop Free as a Bird. Nothing amazing though, but they all have some really great tunes to offer.

Slowmotion is one of the best Supertramp albums, even more if I analyze them into a progressive context. It just a great Jazz prog. I like it more than Something never change. I think it's more polished. I rate Slowmotion at a same level than Crime of the century and Even in the quietest moments. Breakfast in America is too pop, with a little dosis of prog. |

Haven't heard any of them, but if they are worse than their highly rated albums they must truly be awful.

I'd rate them in the following decreasing order
1. Some Things Never Change
2. Slow Motion
3. Famous Last Words >> only two valid songs Waiting So Long & Don't Leave Me Now
4. Indellebly stamped >>> only Aries as a good song.
5. Free As A Bird >> only the inaptly-titled An Awful Thing To Waste is good.
