I am right there with you! Blade Runner is one of my all time favorite movies, I must have seen it 25-30 times over the years. And the music, no words can explain what it does to me. Simply amazing stuff.

Hi,
Soundtracks ... soundtracks ...
Blade Runner is by far one of the pretties soundtracks ever done and was used to a magnificent degree.
Listening wise, I love El Greco.

Good choice and one of his best imo.
China with no votes is a bigger shocker to me though.I would have voted for it before El Greco came along.

it's good to know DRAGON and HYPOTHESIS are unfinished works that VANGELIS did'nt wanted to be released, but so is the business.as an album EARTH could be my favourite one but as a track CREATION DU MONDE is the most stunning music put to tape, i'm quite amazed no one chose l'APOCALYPSE DES ANIMAUX .I own the whole discography and i love them all

Albed 0.39 gets my vote. Vangelis demonstrates a profound knowledge of astronomy.

Impressive lyrics, just take a book of geography and read . I'm joking. I really like that track and the idea is great. "Maximum distance from the sun....." Nothing can be defined as Space Rock more than it.

Voted for Heaven and Hell (Yeah I know, probably the most overtly proggy critter in the litter)
As for the remainder:

I thought the anger emoticon signified this thread was going to badmouth Vangelis but it was the opposite...

I'm from Greece(as you already know).I voted Earth.I like his albums. But I chose this because I'm an Akerfeldt fan and this album it was the no.1 in his list for the albums who listened to more in 2008(I think).

Beauborg was my favorite album of all time for about a month when I was a bit stranger but I would have to say Albedo is now. His drumming gives it a crazy rhythmic feel that is unique.
