Hi, kind of repeating one of my obsessions here, I am looking for tracks like these two, John Abercrombie's TIMELESS and Billy Cobham's HEATHER.

These are chilled out, reflexive, meditative, barely there ambient jazz/prog tracks that really allow you to sink within yourself. Anyone has got references to tracks that take you to a similar mindframe? Thanks!!!

You would probably like Billy Cobham's Song for a Friend off of the Life and Times album. The album has two different versions of the song, both are great.

Pretty much most ECM fusion albums. Steve Tibbetts, Oregon, Terje Rypdal, etc.

Unhappy Pat Metheny Group is awesome, especially the early albums: American Garage and s/t.

I actually agree in many cases. The Way Up is amazing, though.

ECM is the best place to explore.  Try some Rainer Brunighause:

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...
