Agalloch. There's something special indeed. They're probably my favorite metal band.
motW is good, but I don't ingest it like crack as I do with other Driver projects. If everything was as good as Part the Second this would be much harder.

Yeah... it's that specialness that makes them a winner for me, too. They resonate with me emotionally more than almost anything else. MotW is also great. Btw, I prefer Bath/Body Map to PtS, and Kayo Dot to all three.

Gotta go with Agalloch. I just love their winter-themed, harsh music. MotW are pretty good too though.

Love both to death, but Agalloch since it's getting wintery out, and their music is just special then.

I can answer this, easily. I really liked The Mantle, but never will they touch the astral immersion of interspersed sharp brutality and trembling quiescence. If I want a musical journey, I put on Bath/Body Map. 'Nuff said.

Neither are bands I generally listen to, but my preference is MOTW.

Agalloch. I always thought the distorted vocals in motW really brought down the quality of the music. I'm still a fan, but not as much as Agalloch.

I made this poll a long time ago. I wasn't sure then, but now I know that I definitely prefer Agalloch.
