Nursery Crime. Not all songs are good in Wish you were here.

Really don't mind if you sit this one out. My words but a whisper, your deafness a shout.

This is tough since they are such different albums. still, my vote is always for Genesis. I do love WYWH though. I used to sing the title track for auditions for bands in high school

Wish You Were Here by a mile!! I won't even go into how crappy Nursery Cryme is produced again as I've ranted enough about it lol WYWH is brilliant IMO. Cryme could've been much better...

Nursery Cryme.
WYWH is far from being PF's best - it's not even a good record.

Wow this was surprisingly hard to pick! At first I was thinking WYWH, but then I felt that I've listened to Nursery Cryme a lot more. I'll admit, WYWH was not really my favorite Pink Floyd album, I felt I had to vote for WYWH. It's a classic.

I'm an absolute fan of Genesis from Tresspass to Calling all stations, but in this poll I must admit that WYWH is one of the best two albums of Pink Floyd (the other is Dark Side of the Moon) and Nursery Crime is not between the 5 best albums of Genesis (in my opinion). In Nursery Crime the great ones are Musical Box and Fountain of Salmacis. In Wish you were here the great one is Shine on you crazy diamond which is more than the half of the album. The conclusion is that I vote for WYWH but by a little difference.
IF YOU WERE PUT WYWH VS. FOXTROT OR SELLING ENGLAND GENESIS WOULD WIN BY FAR.

Wish you Were Here, easily. One of my favourite albums, and an easy 5 stars... the only song that I don't like so much is "Have a Cigar"... and of course, "Shine on..." is a real masterpiece of beauty. The only song from "Nursery Crime" that comes close to "Whish you Were Here" (the album), as far as I'm concerned, is Musical Box... the other long tracks don't do much for me, though I must admit most of the shorter tracks are rather beautifull too.

I don't understand these random-paring polls, but whatever... my vote goes to Genesis.

per the other poll. Is there a group out there that can match the string of album of Genesis from Trespass to Lamb.
I figured that Pink Floyd would have the only shot at it. Others believe that there are many groups, King Crimson, Gentle Giant. Jethro Tull etc. If Genesis pulls this out (beating Floyd Boys) then we can move on to others predictions that another band has put out 5 in a row compared to the above.

Well, there it is. (Amadeus)
