Definitely worded the wrong way. It should've said PT vs. After Crying like the other posts. People don't even know this is part of the same post 70's championship

I love AC, but PT should probably win, really. No vote.

To me this is just wrong,it's tainted the whole process. Okay this is from a PT fanboy sure but this isn't fair at all.

I'd say all of them, but I have a little preference for De Profundis and Megalazzottag. |
I agree. I would also toss a vote to their live album Struggle For Life which is wonderful as well. (And works as a good compliation of AC, at least of their middle/late period)

I love both band's music, though quite different (although both developed and changed their sound throughout the years). I'll give my vote to After Crying.

Wow. Interesting results so far. Perhaps this is skewing the poll in favor of AC?
Also, no vote from me. I don't know AC.

Tough one. I like both bands, but I'll give the edge to Porcupine Tree for the variety of styles in their whole catalogue.

Even if I love the early PT, After Crying are one of my all time fav bands.

Plenty members unfamiliar with one of the two bands were reasonable enough to say that they will not vote. Up to now, many (if not all) of the bands advanced based on the scoreline on top, without any means of telling who were all the ones voting, what they voted, why they voted that or how fair their reasoning was, so I don't see why bother now.

Welcome to another round of the Post 70's World Cup!
For this one and only occasion I've decided to change the title of the poll.
I figured out that naming it Porcupine Tree vs. After Crying would attract lots of PT fanboys who might not even know there's a band called After Crying, and yet vote for their much beloved band.
In order to at least try to avoid in part this unfair situation, with this change of title I'm trying to narrow the voters into:
- Those who know After Crying
and,
- Those who without knowing them were curious enough to see what this poll was about
Besides, those who are familiar with the hungarian band are much likely to have heard Porcupine Tree, so I don't think this is unfair for Steven Wilson's band.
Anyway, I still think PT will take over this poll easily, nevermind the way it was set.
I know I might get a lot of s**t for this, but what the hell, let's spice up things a little bit.
World Cup so far:
Deadline for this poll: November 1st
