Sounds like you listen a lot like I do, DigDug - a little of everything. I was just thinking the other day that Five Miles Out is one of my favorite Oldfield albums because it balances both his pop and progressive sides very well.
1. Five Miles Out - Oldfield
2. Stand Up - Tull
3. Bridge of Sighs - Trower
4. Revolver - Beatles
5. Octopus - Gentle Giant
6. Hot Rats - Zappa

Nice list man. Here is what I like out of it.
Soft Machine Gentle Giant Shakti Agitation Free Jethro Tull Sieges Even Pink Floyd Frank Zappa Biglietto per L'Inferno Dun Beatles Smashing Actually it's between two masterpieces, Sieges Even and Dun. So I'm gonna go with Dun which is kinda tough to beat. |

Haven't heard all of these (by a long shot), but I'm gonna vote anyway. I love JT, but I'm not crazy about Stand Up, so I'll go with GG's octo opus masterpiece.

There are many albums I really like here, but ultimately it's between Dun Eros, AF's Malesch, and S-G's Tourist. I'm leaning towards Malesch, but no, I'm voting St. Germain's. It's not going to get alot of love here, I think it's a really good album, and it's the one I feel like listening to right now.

Almost went with Octopus but then I noticed Shakti's Natural Elements and had to choose it. One of my favorite albums.

Just listened to Octopus today! No matter how much I love The Beatles
(though Revolver isn't my favorite), recently I've really gotten into
Gentle Giant.
So, easily Octopus |

1. Gentle Giant 2. The Smashing Pumpkins 3. God Is An Astronaut 4. Dun 5. The Arcade Fire |
