Mr. Bungle - California
The Knife - Shaking the Habitual (not as good as Silent Shout IMO) Tera Melos - X'ed Out - quite different from their debut due to the addition of vocals Cynic - Traced in Air - neat to hear the fully metal versions of the songs off the retraced ep Porcupine Tree - Deadwing - heard this one off a digital loaner a few years ago and recalled enjoying it so I finally picked up my own copy. Big Big Train - English Electric: Full Power Not a recent purchase as I backed them on kick starter in the summer to pre-order it, but also got to hear miRthkon - Snack(s) for the first time today. So far I quite enjoy it, although I was already familiar with some of the material from having seen them live in July. Also CDBaby notified me my Birds and Buildings album did indeed ship. Yeah, I'm pretty excited about this one. While I wanted to get each of the newer Esoteric re-releases for the remastering and the packaging, I found a cheap copy of Elements on ebay for $15, which seems like a steal for how much I've seen it elsewhere.

Bought yesterday....
Ensiferum---Unsung Heros (combination of Viking, symphonic, death and folk Prog metal) When Heaven Wept--the Oceans of Lachrymose (great freakin' album!!) Mudvayne-- LD 50, The beginning of all things end, The end of all of all things to come. (excellent death/thrash metal works.) Soulfly---Savages ( I really can't say enough about this band and how much they have impressed me over the many years I have been following them. Highly recommended. This is South American Thrash/doom Prog metal at its best) Metallica--Through The Never: Music from the motion picture. (absolutely phenomenal. Great set list of live tracks. ;) Katatonia--Uncrowned and Dethroned ( fans of Steven Wilson along with late Opeth and Anathema will love this album very very much. I recommend picking this one up in the 5.1 edition. ;) Prog on everyone and happy hunting. |

Oh come on! Remember how much fun it was ordering music online when you are totally wasted, then waking up the next morning to a 500+ Dollar bill? You miss it. Don't ya? |
