Lee Ranaldo - his new one (CD)

Stuff from me to me, arrived in mail:
The Dead C - Future Artists (double vinyl)
The Dead C - Eusa Kills/Helen Said This (double vinyl)
The Dead C - The Secret Earth (CD)
The Dead C - Patience (CD)

Who are The Dead C and how do you not have everything you own by them yet?

As for myself, my Christmas swag was a bit light this year ...

Strapping Young Lad - Alien
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Push The Sky Away

did a bit of Christmas shopping with the wife and picked up:
Luca Turilli's Rhapsody - Ascending Into Infinity
Sigur Ros - Kveikur
Jaga Jazzist - A Livingroom Hush
The Denver Gentlemen - Introducing...
Tchaikovsky Edition (60 discs that include recordings of almost everything Tchaikovsky recorded, included multiple recordings of some works and some historical works)

The past few months I've kind of grown tired of the constant influx of music but I am starting to feel that burning desire to own more more more coming back

It really is. Live the improv sessions. The KC quartet have a psychic, crazy telapathic ability to read each others minds.

LOL
A fair question, I seem to be getting a lot of their stuff lately.
They've been around for about 30 years and have around 20 albums, but I only discovered them a few months ago, so I've been playing catch up.  They're a trio of 2 guitars and drums from New Zealand, playing a kind of avant noise that has elements of AMM, Faust, and early Sonic Youth.

Also, this was an album that released in a special edition format as well where the 3rd disc is an instrumental cd and I think the album sounds much better without vocals. You'll also appreciate Wither more without LaBrie's sub-par vocals on it. ;)

Siltbreeze records are amazing!  They released a lot of early Dead C stuff, and my own band's debut LP (SB-18)

If you don't have it, you need Harsh 70s Reality (SB-11/12)
