I've been spending the better part of today going through Wayside's online catalogue from A to Z.  It's been several hours and I'm still only on "D".  Holy schnikeys...
I plan to make a fairly significant purchase once I start prioritizing all the stuff on my wish list, which I don't want to do until I scroll through the whole thing (it's been several years since I really went through the whole thing).

^^ I had been wondering how this thread actually fares these days... do members still actually 'purchase' the hardware in the same quantities as we did pre-Spotify etc?

anyway, for hardly any money, I've purchased:

Dream Theater: A Dramatic Turn Of Events
Kamelot: Poetry For The Poisoned
Communic: The Bottom Deep
Suspyre: When Daylight Fades

the first Prog(ish) CDs in an embarrassingly long time...

^ You have dedication and determination that I lack. I tried going through their sale section once and did not make it all the way through. I did find and make some neat purchases along the way though.

Darn it, I'm still only on "H".  But I'm determined to find all those little things I forgot I wanted or didn't know were available.  One thing I'm pretty sure I'm going to get is the Goblin 6 CD box set.

I'm so jealous of youEmbarrassed
I'd very much like to something like that myself.
6 CD box Goblin sounds like a good deal too if the price is right.

The nice thing I've found about the Wayside site is the Wish List.  I can put anything I want on that list, for free.  I haven't even gotten to the money part yet.  Then I'll need to start trimming away and making hard decisions.   But at least I can get everything I'd possibly want in one place.

And yeah, I think the Goblin is a good buy - 6 full albums with bonus tracks for about $50.  I'm just starting to get into the band and haven't bought anythign yet so that seemed like an ideal way to go.

Oh ok you're new to Goblin? Then that sounds like a real steal - especially if we're talking the classic mid 70s stuff.

Amazon's got the wish list feature too. It's pretty cool.

Visited Amoeba today in Hollywood (best music store I've been to) and found these:

Days Between Stations - In Extremis (used for only $4, so why not)
Thought Chamber - Psykerion
Manfred Mann's Earth Band - Nightingales And Bombers
