Right now Can, but to be honest I haven't heard a full Magma album yet so I can't really vote.

It's closer than Yes vs Genesis. Seems I chose a good pair. Magma for me, although Tago Mago is my favorite thing either of them have made.

I don't think Magma ever topped Tago Mago, but Can's career wasn't anywhere near as consistent as Magma's... no vote

Wurdah and 1001 smash tago out of the water. Cans vocalist is quite poor
|
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

It's hard not to vote for Magma, but even harder not giving my vote to Can. So CAN it is.

Magma can be filled with cans, but cans can not contain Magma. Everyone knows that!

Hmmm, overall I prefer Magma. But Can has the best album, Future Days.

One of the few cases where I'll vote for krautrock over prog.

This was tough to choose but I think I'll go with Magma since they can still make amazing prog music after all these years. I mean just look at how highly ranked K.A. is
