I've already contributed to this thread but want to come back on once more to state the title track to Too Old To Rock 'n Roll, Too Young to Die! was pretty good if not plain wonderful. It's just that it was on such a friggin' awful album.

i think that track is brutal...overproduced strings etc.  

but, that album has some great moments...and, Salamander is certainly one of my favorite Tull tracks

I reckon there are about 100 tull songs I rate as very very good. Including some tracks from TAAB and APP
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.
