Downward Spiral. Would've voted for Bungle, but that's not their best work. The pick NIN got in the poll is their first height, a dark, thematically brutal, and yet at times danceable concept album. Certainly one of the few post-1990 highlights of industrial.

Only know the 'Nails and think they're awful. Will go with one or the other of what remains, sound unheard. They have to be better.

Tortoise by far! Can't understand that Bungle album at all. NiN are fine, but nothing all that special.
