I keep hearing of this band; are they similar to Mostly Autumn? What album of theirs would be an essential listen?

I would say that Mostly Autumn are a rather unique band, owing to the incredible Bryan Josh. There is nobody doing what he does, or sounding like he does anywhere. Having said that, if you like female fronted vocalists in your prog, then you will definitely, find something to enjoy in both bands.

Fairies Wear Boots (cover) by miRthkon from the album Snack(s).

Originally performed by Black Sabbath from the album Paranoid.

I think some of you already know this.

I guess the last song I could say I have been addicted to was Empire of the Clouds by Iron Maiden. I have never been particularly a fan of that band, but happily I ended up buying their last album (actually, it's the first studio album I have bought from them, even if I have a pair of live albums). I could really say Empire of the Clouds has become one of my very favourite songs from them, along with Hallowed be thy Name (and to Tame a Land, I guess, even if that song I mainly know because of the Dream Theater cover). A little before that song, I have really enjoyed Edison's Children "Final Breath Before November", specially "Light Years" and the combo of songs "The Morphlux / I am Haunted / What did you want?", IQ's "The Road of Bones" (not sure which song I would choose to stand out, I guess the first one), Pink Floyd's "The Endless River" (once again not sure about one song that stands out, since the whole album flows beautifully, but I guess the first side), and a bit before that yet, Tuomas Holopainen's "A Lifetime of Adventure" and Epica's "Canvas of Life" and "Natural Corruption". I guess right now, the songs that might grab me from albums I have been listening lately are Cast's "El Puente" suite, and some songs from Gilmour's new album, "Faces of Stone" and "In Any Tongue" sound particularly beautiful.
