Very nice band, one of my favourites of the British obscurities. I like Arena more.

Yep, Arena is the more exciting album. Have both as re-issue vinyl, and I really have to give 'em a spin as I haven't done so for a few years !!

Poor Marsupilami, the English band forever to be confused with being an Italian/RPI band! Man, that second album is a ripper, so tough and schizophrenic, and the vocals have a really deranged strangled quality to them! That gets my vote!

Both are good albums, but I'll vote for Arena.

I like them more or less equally, but I give the houba to the self-titled debut. When I was in my mid-teens I heard a song by a band named Marsupilami. Now, after 41 years in which I still remembered it, I can identify this track: And The Eagle Chased The Dove To Its Ruin.

Dorian Deep is stunning, pity that this means that I think that the band reached their pinnacle with their first song and went downhill from there. Actually it's all pretty good but the first album speaks to me on a much more emotional level, the second one sounds more intellectual, something to respect, not to love.
