I was so tempted to use Tom Sawyer. But it might be a little obscure.
Spot the lyrical twist involved and vote for the favourite of the moment. No agenda here; just good clean arguing over which one's better - like that idea has any real meaning. |

Queen this time kinda random famous songs in a poll, what's next a Moody Blues vs Obituary? That will be a tough one.

Holy crap...ninja-d!
I just mentioned `The Prophet Song' on the other Queen/Rush poll thread, then randomly came here, and - SLICE! And Queen again. |

It's not random but the connection while not overly obscure is a little more than just opening up a side of a record. I'm not going to tell you, it's not worth it; a real smh moment really. |

The Prophet Song and it's not even close! I'm a huge Rush fan and I prefer Rush over Queen, but I'm not a big fan of Rush plain rock radio-type songs, only prog rock songs!

The Prophet's Song.
What a great instrumental break. I was listening to Father to Son (on Queen 2) earlier today and thought to myself, if only Queen carried on making music like this |

The second time I have voted for Queen in this series, despite my overall preference for Rush. Nice connection between these two.

Just listened to the Queen one for the first time and I've gotta say, I'm impressed. Early Queen kicked butt.
But I voted for Spirit of Radio. One is a great song, the other is a national treasure and cultural icon. You have not truly lived, and cannot truly call yourself a Canadian, until you've driven into Hamilton to go for a Tims run at the original Tims, with Permanent Waves blaring on the car stereo.
