 I went with prog related with elements of prog in it. I didn't love the last few Rush albums. They got heavier which is fine but everything sounded muddy or cluttered to me. Farewell to Kings & Hemispheres were heavy but there was a clear definition to all the parts. Something in the production I thing, but didn't enjoy them as much as previous albums.

Same here too, although I do have a soft spot for Fly by Night and COS, but certianly the classic era - which for me goes a little beyond PW - was remarkable. Beyond that it was 'unremarkable' Just chugging hard rock, with Geddy Lee's voice. Could have been a solo Lee project

Of course it is. It's their only ever full concept album, for crying out loud! This shouldn't even be an issue.

Not my thing really. I lost interest in Rush after Counterparts, and everything from Test for Echo onward do nothing for me at all.

Though the album may be prog-related, I'd say yes. Clockwork Angels was a return to form for Rush. A final flash of glory, never more to grace the night...

I went with Prog Related. Rush are essentially a hard rock band that veered into conceptual art rock music for a while. I would argue that the last real Prog album they made was Power Windows although I suppose there was a gradual transition back to hard rock until they got to Roll The Bones .They have made some excellent albums since ( I love Vapor Trails especially) but can they really be described as prog rock?!

Not the proggiest or most complex thing they've done, but it certainly feels like they're intentionally trying to bring the "prog" back into their music, so I voted yes.

I would say prog related. Though Rush are indeed a very and highly beloved prog band, Clockwork Angels does not reach the Prog Standards applied to their music, and to other bands as a matter of fact. It does not mean that the music is bad, actually is a good album, but more on the prog - related category to my ears.
