All parts are flawless IMO but I'd have to go with part 4.

Part 4 for me. I'm pleasantly surprised it's actually winning. There are some great parts through the rest of the album, but this is the one I feel works best as a piece, and that final vocal segment is one of the best Olfield has done (the similar one on part 2 was sort of too long and repetitive).

The whole thing is just too long. I'll go for the live version over the studio album. No parts 1-4. Just 45 minutes of continuous great music.

Part 3 although I would like the drums mixed higher. The guitar work on this is so fluid and that's what seals it for me.

For me part 3 is the one I enjoy the least. The other 3 have moments I like a lot, at least (and part 4 is the one that I enjoy on it's whole), but 3 just doesn't have much for me to enjoy. Well, I guess if I'm listening to the whole album I do will enjoy even it, but I don't really feel any wish to come back to that particular part of the album.

I've never understood the love for Part 4. It's just a shame that Pierre Moerlen's drums are mixed so low on Part 3 as his playing is awesome (as always!) . Oldfield plays a long guitar solo that isn't really a solo , but maybe it is. I love it.

For me, part 4 is the only one that flows nicely, and in which I really like every seconf from it, the others have good parts and... well, perhaps not bad ones, but at least not so good (except for part 3, in which I don't really like much). And then, there's the ending on part 4, that one is just one of the very best and most beautiful pieces he has done (and in general one of my favourite pieces of music), and I feel it works better than the similar one in part 2.
