Although Floyd is bigger for me than Genesis, it´s Suppers. If it had been Atom Heart Mother...I love of course Echoes too.

Supper's Ready is technically a more important (better?) song, but I had to vote Echoes as I prefer it to Supper's Ready 90% of the time.

It's really close, impossible to pick almost. Echoes is more cohesive and consistent. Supper's Ready is brilliant but the parts aren't so well connected. Some sections are fantastic but one or two bits are just very good.

Love them both, but I went with Supper's Ready, largely because there are Pink Floyd epics that I love even more than Echoes.

I love Echoes, but Suppers Ready is simply in a different league.

^This......Echoes has a lot of filler.....that's what makes it less interesting....though it was fun in 1971/72 when I was young, in college ,and altering my state of consciousness.

No, Echoes is one composition with a long instrumental in the middle. Supper's Ready has separate songs by separate band members fused together with segues.

A while ago, comparing Pink Floyd and Genesis, I said that the best of Pink Floyd is better than the best of Genesis, but that Genesis is more uniformly great than Pink Floyd. Well, this poll is between the best of Pink Floyd and the best of Genesis, so in keeping to what I had said earlier, my vote goes to Echoes.
