Is Pawn Hearts my favourite prog album of all time...?
It may be... If it were not the first, it would still very close to the first.

Mirage is very good but it is far from Pawn Hearts.

Three Friends (for me one of the worst of GG) and Space Ritual are very far.

Love all of these so I'll throw Space Ritual some love, always makes my list of best live albums and is probably the best example of the bands work.

I HATE VDGG, don't like very much GG so I'll vote for Camel followed by Hawkwind

Horn Parts by miles, then
Space Ritual
GG
but cannot stand that camel dung Mirage. Appalling crap.  Lester Bangs (an arsehole) infamously referred to ELP as war criminals. If that term was ever to be applied to any prog band then surely it would belong to Camel.

Gentle Giant and Yes are my two main bands, so it's rare you'll see me vote against either...

But in this case, VDGG takes the cake out of these selections.
