These are the best Italian albums published in 1970. (if you want to add some album, do it!) Choose your favourite! |

Incredible. I'm Italian and I've never listened to any of them, except for Balletto di Bronzo only once.

Personally i wouldn't consider Blues Right Off or The Underground Set to be prog.
Other possibilities The Group - Feed Back Gleeman - S/T Lucio Dalla - Terra di Gaibola Equipe 84 - ID Mirageman - Thrilling |

Aww, Balletto di Bronzo' `Sirio 2222' is such a great rock album, with some nice ambitious little teases here and there! Every time I listen to it, I'm constantly surprised by just how good it is.

I don't have those albums. My favourite 1970 Italian one, and it's at least musically prog related to me, is Ennio Morricone's Città Violenta.

Hey Pup, thanks for asking...long story short, I’ve just spent a great chunk of this year helping out with several (and lengthy) hospital stays for my parents. Meant a lot of back and forth for them, and slotting it in around work hours...plus it’s been winter down here in Melbourne , so it’s all contributed to inspiration and motivation waning, or been borderline impossible. Anyway, I just started checking back in here a day or two ago, and already it’s proving a nice relief to be back to it all. I’d love to shake off the rust and start getting back to the reviewing too! ***** As for that Balletto disc, it’s no classic, but just one of those tasty albums that straddles the line between cool Sixties rock and developing adventurous Seventies sounds. Well worth giving a few more spins again too! |

I've had similar experiences only not so demanding on my time. Cheers!

In effect, Blues Right Off isn't present here in PA (instead The Underground Set is in the archives). I've taken this list from the Italian wonderful blog where you can find even Free Action Inc: Plays Eddy Korsche Rock And Blues.
