Strange question, but I voted "No" because I don't necessarily think all their early albums are "legendary", and I think at least Songs From The Wood could fall into "legendary" category.

I think any group that spans six decades deserves legendary status.

Nah, songs from the wood was their best album and that’s still only a 4 star album.

shall I state the obvious and say tastes differ, etc... I for one was never that impressed with Song from the Wood. It's a good album, but I rarely listen to it. Also Stand Up is my favorite album of theirs, so...

Of course it is just my opinion. Stand up is good. I guess I’ll never get the extreme love for Tull around here, I can’t imagine thinking Aqualung or even TAAB are better than most the albums ranked below it. Overall I’d say tull is barely a prog band. Edited by dougmcauliffe - November 14 2019 at 07:34 |

Yes, six decades:- 1960's; 1970's; 1980's; 1990's; 2000's; & 2010's. There's nothing wrong with my maths.

I said six decades, not seven decades. I've just listed the six decades of Jethro Tull's existence in front of you. I couldn't make it any clearer than that.
