I don'y like 90125 or Ladders, so voted Rush -- and I am 62.

WOW, I did try to tilt this a little toward Rush when I picked the albums to off set some of the Rush haters but I didn't expect this. Tough one since Yes 80's & 90's output wasn't great.

Tough one for me. If you had Big Generator instead of 90125 I would probably go for Yes. However, Hemispheres is probably my favorite Rush album and signals has a soft spot for me since that's the first one I heard by them. So I guess Rush it is.

So, I'm a huge Rush fan and all of the albums listed are great albums. I was sold on Rush before I was completely sold on Yes. But my vote goes to Yes because, for me.....
The Yes Album is a bit better than Hemispheres, though it is very close. Signals is a bit better than 90125, but that was is close for me too. The Ladder is much better than Counterparts, but I'm a big fan of The Ladder which is underrated in my opinion. I am also a huge fan of Rush's Presto, and if you would have put that there instead of Counterparts, then I would have had to vote for Rush.

Tie. I prefer Yes by a fairly wide margin, but the average of the albums you've picked is kinder to Rush. |

I think someone has been a little unkind to Yes re the selection, so Rush by quite a margin here..

I was just going to vote for Yes but then I realized (after it wouldn't let me vote) that I already voted for Rush. Lol.

I had already voted but was under 55 when the poll came out. Over 55 now. Voted Rush then, would vote Rush now.

I'm surprised this isn't 2:1 in favor of Rush.

Ooh, that's brutal. I think it goes to Yes for the nu-artish upward movement between TYA and Niney but it's very close. |
