Yes the ABWH and on second thought I should back off of the liked a lot.  Liked yes, a lot, not so much. 

Yes / Union isn't all that well regarded because it never really existed.

Jon Anderson (Union) and Friends with (many) members of Yes is much better.

Jon sounds great throughout.

I’m not a fan of Rabin, and that drum pattern that opens the song is just lame. I don’t get a smidgeon ofProg In it. And I like Pop too. This song and Teakbois really rub me the wrong way. I don’t get why Heaven and Earth is universally panned ?? I did prefer Glass Hammer to it though.

um, I’m not joking. I have the turquoise vinyl edition. I return to this album often, smooth as silk, well performed and joyous. It’s a bit on the Dad-Prog side of the equation, but still enjoyable.

Digressing, but I think Heaven and Earth is excellent !!! Start to finish . There, I said it, it’s official, it’s out there 🤪

Sure Yes went already in the beginning of eighties in the big production. And they really tried to make hits and also had them (according to Phil Collins Rutherford & Banks wanted hits to Genesis already in Gabriel times). But I don´t think in their few recent albums they´ve tried to make only Yes-albums and not caring the styles of these days.

Approximately. Just listened to it again and that's the best rating I could come up. That one little word says a mouthful.

On a scale from 1 to 10, it's meh.
