What's wrong with spelling "bloody"? Is it offensive? Such a fun song, I don't know how it can irritate anyone.

Yes, it's a funny song as a novelty record, but unfortunately, it's usually novelty songs that are the most irritating of all. Do you remember the godawful "Birdy Song" by The Tweets? I thought we may not be allowed to say "bl**dy" in the forums, seeing as we're not allowed to mention the Lincolnshire town of S****thorpe.

you can't compareBloody Well right to Birdy Song... that's a wtf moment for me. I don't know what S****thorpe is. Just write the words as they are.

Just take my word for it that we're not allowed to mention S****thorpe. I mentioned it in one of my album reviews once and the offending letters were asterisked out, seriously.

Pretty much anything on Breakfast In America really. Not a bad song in sight. Crime of The Century is also great. (The Eye Of The Storm by Roger Hodgson would easily be my 3rd favourite 'Supertramp' album.)
1. Child Of Vision 2. Crime Of The Century 3. Logical Song 4. Take The Long Way Home 5. Goodbye Stranger 6. Gone Hollywood 7. Dreamer 8. Hide In Your Shell 9. School 10. Fool's Overture

Me before reading the comments in this thread: "I can contribute, I like Supertramp. I know plenty of their songs."
Me after reading the comments: "I know nothing about Supertramp." Here's my contribution: 1. Breakfast in America 2. Give a little bit 3. Logical Song 4. Dreamer 5. Goodbye Stranger 6. Take the long way home Bloody marvelous. Nearly made it to 7... |

I know not everyone ordered their lists, but here are the polling results so far:
Most Mentioned: 1. School 2. Fool's Overture (tie) School 4. Rudy 5. Even in the Quietest Moments 6. Asylum (tie) The Logical Song 8. Child of Vision 9. Gone Hollywood (tie) Hide In Your Shell (tie) Goodbye Stranger Points: 1. Fool's Overture (77 pts.) 2. School (68) 3. Crime of the Century (65) 4. Rudy (53) 5. Hide in Your Shell (48) 6. Asylum (46) 7. The Logical Song (37) 8. Child of Vision (35) 9. Even in the Quietest Moments (34) 10. Gone Hollywood (31) I'll check in again in a few weeks to see if anyone else has chosen to add their list. Thanks! Everybody watch one of the YouTube video of Roger Hodgson playing "Fool's Overture" live with a full orchestra. Quite emotional: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aWDxuhD0FI&ab_channel=BDFilms4U |

1. Just A Normal Day
2. Child of Vision 3. Take The Long Way Home 4. Try Again 5. School 6. Bloody Well Right 7. Fool's Overture 8. Waiting So Long 9. Brother Where You Bound 10. No Inbetween (10 of my favorites by them... but this was a tough one, as I have difficulty separating any tracks out of Crime of the Century. The entire album is, in my opinion, "perfect" - and realistically my top 8 Supertramp songs would be the 8 tracks of Crime of the Century... 9 would be Just a Normal Day, and 10 would be Waiting So Long.)

01. Rudy
02. Maybe I'm A Beggar 03. Crime of the Century 04. Waiting So Long 05. Words Unspoken 06. Even In The Quietest Moments 07. Better Days 08. Fool's Overture 09. Brother Where You Bound 10. Just Another Nervous Wreck The solo in the end of Waiting So Long is just marvelous. Unfortunately obscured by the general output of the rest of the album.
