I've included the Bill Bruford & Patrick Moraz album: Music for Piano & Drums in this fourth Yes solo poll, even though it's not really a solo album, but does it really matter in The Grand Scheme of Things?

Me neither. I only know two albums (by Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman) in the poll.

why make the poll then? I told you at some point these polls are going to be slim pickings, not much to choose from.

Because I might learn something and I'm interested to see what albums others might vote for. I now know that all of Bill Bruford's albums are well-worth a listen, having seen how well his albums have done in this series of polls.

think 3 ships is Jon's best solo album
not a big fan of Jon's solo stuff---seems he always needed a good collaborator like Howe or Yes or Vangelis. but I do listen to his very good Xmas album more than the others although ---but Bruford Moraz is good.

Went with Bruford & Moraz. Not that it is such a brilliant album, but the others are at best average...

It's a good thing I included that album, seeing as Bruford & Moraz look set to win the poll. That's another album to add to my long list of albums to listen to.

I voted for The Grand Scheme of Things. Howe's voice is universally derided, but he had some things to say he could not with just his guitar(s). His vocals have improved, and he has his own unique style of melody and delivery. Furthermore, the songs are all well performed and arranged. There are plenty of instrumental as well as vocal tracks. After that, I go for the arena rock of Rabin's Can't Look Away.
