Glad to see the TOOL my friend. I thought Fear Inoculum was worth the 13-year wait. Love it. |

One of my favs, I think a little underrated to me. Love The Writ the way it opens up. Can't remember everything since the last time here: Alice Cooper - Detroit Stories (new album by Alice, with all Detroit musicians, including a couple of his original band members) Went back to his early roots. Good album Granmax - A Ninth Alive Granmax - Kiss Heaven Goodbye America - s/t Ennio Morricone - Best Of (old spaghetti western movie songs and such) Doobie Brothers - Captain and Me London Symphony Orchestra - Songs of Led Zeppelin Deep Purple - Whoosh! Porcupine Tree - Absentia Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet

I absolutely love it. Actually my friend. There is gonna be a terrific new 2021 boxset (4CD) of sabotage out next month. I’ve already pre ordered it. I have to say the new 2021 remasters for Black Sabbath albums have been absolutely phenomenal. Inglot and Wortham are terrific mastering engineers. You won’t be sorry if you end up buying it. Of course, nice to see you here again as well. :) |

Savatage— Gutter Ballet. Arena— The Visitor The Nefilim— Zoon ( god I love this one. Incredible and heavy. ) Fields of the Nephilim— ST Unreal City— La Crudeltà di aprile ( this was the best album I discovered in 2013. What a great debut album. I love this band and I’m sure us RPI guys are very much ready for another album from them. ) |

Over the weekend. Found a forgotten CD from my years in the early 90s of my Space/New Age listening phase by Himekami. Which led me to think of others I had then. One of which was Constance Demby.
She designed some of her instruments, quite experimental. Also discovered she passed in March 2021 at 81 years, thus a small Dembyathon. Himekami- Journey to Zipangu Constance Demby - Sacred Space Music Constance Demby - Set Free Constance Demby - Novus Magnificat Constance Demby - Aeterna Check out her Space Bass design and creation, wild! There are certainly some tasty pics in here that’s for sure. I’m talking prog rock, psych, electronica, blues, 80s maneuvres, post-punk, avant, pop and a few that kinda mixes everything. Sweet
I’ll add to the excitement my own mixed bag of beets: Zopp - s/t (I shaved during this album. Definitely worth recommending. I had a blast) The Prodigy - Music For The Jilted (Always thought of this album as electronic punk) Gas - Narkopop (Wafting music. Like slipping into a dream bath) Todd Terje - It’s Album Time (Electronic disco with flashes of modern day electronica. Beach or sofa the music fits both) Gong - Shamal (The closest to Gong that Gong ever got with Moerlen at the frontwheel..and I really dig it) Kevin Ayers - Joy To A Toy (Kindergarten ramblings and small frivolous musical ideas. Makes me think of skipping and naive nonsense) Klaus Schulze - Picture Music (Mmm there is just something irresistable over music that sounds wet and dripping. Almost like a musical adaptation of water flowing) Neil Young - After The Gold Rush (Something so frail yet incredibly powerful about Neil’s voice. This album really underlines this beautifully. Production is to die for, like aged wood) |
