Sad to hear the news of Charlie Watts. He was a very underrated drummer imo. Some might say he wasn't technical but playing fast and flashy wouldn't have worked in the Stones. RIP Charlie.

I'm gutted by the news of the passing of British folk guitar virtuoso Michael Chapman at 80. He's the only one of the 60s folk acoustic players that never needed a full band to get his music across. He was a self contained unit. RIP Michael, you were an unsung genius.

Roger Newell, bass player for Rick Wakeman, and 60s cult psychedelic band Rainbow Ffolly among others, has died aged 73. The bassist suffered an aortic aneurysm on Friday September 10, following a long battle with heart-related illness.
