^ RIP Douglas Trumball; Silent Running had a strong impact on me as a pre-teenager and i still find it emotionally challenging to watch now- still (sadly) as relevant as it was then.

I remember seeing Silent Running in the theatre when I was 14. I really liked Bruce Dern in that role as well as the Huey, Dewey & Louie drones. Awe inspiring for sure.

RIP Doug.

A late but yet struck hard, very seldom a death of a youtuber hits as hard as this but the very nice and polite drum solo reactioner and drum teacher legend Garey Williams died recently either during late 2021 or 2022. Came as a shock. He was a very energic, informational and very enthusiastic gentleman. RiP to Garey Williams, drum teacher legend and very talented jazz drummer and youtube-legend.

^ Talented, beautiful, intelligent and way ahead of her time. She was featured in the "Tales from the Tour Bus" funk edition in which her best friends revealed much about her. She was an introspective person who could get crazy on stage.

Very sad to see this today, although a long life and well lived, with a wonderful musical legacy.  RIP Gary, and shine on brightly.

Gary Brooker RIP such a nice guy, a real raconteur, humorous and always 'game' (dammit, he put himself up to appear in various music and game shows!!) and one of the UK's best ambassadors for the music scene of the late 60's and early 70's. And what a voice! The radio have been playing 'whiter shade of pale' but of he (along with Keith Reid and the rest of the band) were so, so much more than that one song. And i'm so grateful for the canon of fantastic music he left behind and the one opportunity that i had to see the band live which i'll never forget. Thank you Gary.

RIP Gary Brooker. Unfortunately I never owned much P.H. I'll have to remedy that.
