Listening to this now and decided why not do a poll for it.

A great LP , highly underrated, I voted for the whole stuff
a group recording music of difficult access and appreciation; in our time such an artistic approach is unlikely |

The whole album is very good, but side one kick some serious @ss. Of the two I'm giving my vote to Second Spasm for what I suspect is some pretty nifty Clavinet playing.

Thank you for supporting independently produced music

All equally - not only is there not a bad track, there is not a bad moment. Wonderful album.

I'm not the biggest fan of this album but Lament stands out for me.

Love this album all the way through but ultimately feel that Lament is the high water mark.

I like the whole album, in fact it's an early in my journey "prog" love of mine, but "Lament" is my clear favourite. I have sometimes felt that the album feels too formulaic, inorganic, formally structured, but it I guess it rather evokes a chess match where everything is thought out carefully. I think I've expressed it better in the past, and not thinking straight now. I find not much structural variation between tracks on the album, and I tend to favour Midnight Mushrumps on the whole for the greater variation. Lament is wonderful though and I do very much enjoy all of Red Queen.
I've been a very big Gryphon fan, loving all of the classic studio albums. Gryphon and Focus were probably my first two big Prog loves. |

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.
